“Frasers Property Thailand” Announces its Industrial Property Business Group Has Secured a Built-to-Suit Development for “HAVI”, a Global Supply Chain Management Leader

BANGKOK, 2 MAY 2019

Frasers Property BFTZ Company Limited, a subsidiary of Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited or "FPT" (formerly known as TICON), the Leading Provider of Integrated Real Estate Platform, signed an agreement with HAVI Logistics (Thailand) Company Limited or "HAVI", a Global Supply Chain Management leader, to lease 30,000 sq m space of a "Built-to-Suit" facility at FPT Bangplee. Located strategically at the Bangna-Trad Road Km 19, this will be first phase of the project for the new facility that will be used as HAVI's Cold Chain Food Distribution Center, enabling HAVI to develop a cost-effective F&B supply chain and logistics management in Thailand.

The industrial property rental business has a tendency to grow this year due to a proportionate demand from a growing optimisation and consolidation of many industries. This growing demand includes food & beverage industries where fresh food logistics and delivery become a critical operation in today food supply chain. Therefore, FPT continues strategically driving our business focus into this food and beverage sectors. FPT has been known from its experience in building modern cold storage facilities to meet our growing customers' requirements. We have already developed cold storage facilities serving Thai and international customers with more than 100,000 sq m of the total area. The cold chain DC is also equipped with value-added processing equipment. This facility will be a multi-temperature distribution center, comprises of Ambient Storage, Temperature Controlled Storage, Cold Storage and Frozen Storage to support the storage of F&B products and to ensure the quality and freshness. FPT is confident to expand its "Built-to-Suit" services to over 120,000 square meters in the fiscal year 2019 as the rising demand for Built-to-Suit warehouses from many industries. Bangplee location will continue to be location of choice for logistics and warehouses.

The project is expected to be completed and up and running by the first quarter of 2020.
