Frasers Property Thailand to develop smart distribution center for F&N in Thailand’s strategically-location of Ayutthaya

  • In its first major collaboration for fiscal year 2020, FPT and F&N have signed an agreement for FPT to develop a build-to-suit distribution center for F&N, the leading food and beverage (“F&B”) company in Thailand and Indochina.
  • Smart distribution center with fully automated storage system will be built on an about 25 rai plot of land with total floor area of approx. 20k sqm.
  • Expected to be completed in Q2 FY2021, the distribution center will be located in Ayutthaya, a strategic location for logistics and distribution centers with access to Bangkok and its vicinity as well as Thailand’s North and Northeast regions.

Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited or “FPT”, a leading provider of integrated real estate platform, and F&N Dairies (Thailand) Co. Ltd. or “F&N”, a leading F&B company in Thailand and Indochina, have signed an agreement to develop a build-to-suit distribution center in Ayutthaya. With strategic access to major highways and the outer industrial ring road, the distribution center will facilitate F&N’s product distribution to Bangkok and its vicinity, as well as to Thailand’s North and Northeast regions.

Mr. Sopon Racharaksa, President of FPT, said: “Our agreement with F&N marks FPT’s first major deal for the fiscal year 2020. The distribution center is expected to incorporate a modern fully automated technologies including automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) and other automation technologies, which will be built on an about 25 rai plot of land, with a total floor area of 20k sqm. The distribution center will also feature a high bay pallet storage with a building height of approx. 40 meters that can support up to 11 tons per sqm and targeted to be completed in the second quarter of fiscal year 2021.
