Frasers Property Commercial (Thailand) actively cares for tenants and visitors’ safety with “PREVENTIVE” precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in its five office buildings

Bangkok – 11 May 2021

Frasers Property Commercial (Thailand) (“FPCT”), the leading developer of Grade A commercial property space in Bangkok’s CBD, puts in place the “PREVENTIVE” precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and to ensure hygiene and safety of the tenants and visitors.

Amid a new wave of Covid-19 pandemic, FPCT gives its top priority to health and safety to protect the tenants and visitors of over 20,000 people at its five office buildings. Since the first wave of the pandemic, the “PREVENTIVE” precautionary measures have been continuously applied to maintain the highest level of safety.

“PREVENTIVE” precautionary measures are conducted across building management and facilities sanitization. The measures include the following:

1) P-Proper Disposal Bins for Used Face Masks

Set up disposal bins for used face masks to be handled properly. Separate used face masks or other infected waste from the central waste disposal unit. Staff in charge of disposal must always wear protective equipment and clean the disposal bins with disinfectant cleaner.

2) R-Relocation of Delivery Area

Do not allow “delivery” staff to enter the tenants’ units to prevent infection risks from outsiders. Arrange a pickup area for food and packages from “delivery” staff in an open-air space while maintaining social distancing.

3) E-Extra Social Distancing

Extra social distancing is arranged at automatic gates to enter/exit the buildings. Limit the number of passengers in the elevators each time. The passengers must keep social distancing.

4) V-Visitor Temperature Check

Measure temperature of every visitor before entering the buildings. Do not allow those whose temperature is higher than 37.5 C to enter the buildings. Likewise, all staff members, before getting to work, are screened for temperature, which must not exceed 37.5 C.

5) E-Extra Lobby Staff

Extra lobby staff are assigned to facilitate routes of entry and exit so as to decrease the touching of surfaces as well as prevent crowdedness or a long waiting queue.

6) N-Never Forget Face Mask

All visitors and staff members must wear a face mask at all times.

7) T-Take in More Fresh Air

The engineering team conducts a regular maintenance of building facilities and ventilation system while attempting to increase circulation of outdoor air as much as possible.

8) I-Increase Surface Cleaning Schedules

Always use disinfectant cleaner to potentially high touch surfaces e.g., toilets, handrails and elevators every half hour. The destination-controlled elevators have been adopted as part of touchless system to improve hygiene. Additionally, the disinfection procedure is applied weekly.

9) V-Visitor & Parking Card Cleaning

Always clean the visitor and parking cards with the disinfectant cleaner before passing the cards to visitors.

10) E-Enhance Building Automatic Services

Leveraging on technology and automation to ensure speedy and safe services to tenants and visitors.

In addition, the Company also promote the health and safety guidance instructed by the Public Health Ministry among the tenants and visitors to reduce infection risks. The guidance includes 1) always wear a face mask, 2) wash hands as often as possible or at least before touching your face or before meals, 3) keep social distance at least 1 meter apart, and 4) avoid eating with other people.
