The National Blood Center of the Thai Red Cross Society is facing a severe blood shortage due to COVID-19. Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited or “FPT”, a leading integrated real estate platform in Thailand, joins hand with the Thai Red Cross in the fifth blood donation at Samyan Mitrtown between 5 – 6 July 2021. The activity aims to supply sufficient blood and blood products for patients in need during this challenging period.
To ensure donating as safe as possible for everyone, the blood donation activity follows the highest standards of safety and infection control. All healthcare professionals and staff are vaccinated and tested for COVID-19 following to the preventive measures. The donors are also required to adhere strictly to safety guidelines at all time.
171,900 CC of blood was collected from the blood donors, totaling the blood volume collected from the donations in 2021 at 389,250 CC. The next activity will be held in October 2021.
