FPT ESG Champions led by Khun Prasnee Surastian, Executive Vice President - Governance, Corporate Planning, Risk Management and Sustainability, together with colleagues across Frasers Property Thailand visited the waste-to-energy power plant in Nong Khaem, Bangkok. The site visit is hosted by Mr. Rattapong Chaiwutthitham, the plant manager of C&G and his team. From this site visit, they have realized the importance of effective waste management. The plant operates 24x7, requiring a controlled temperature over 800 Degree Celsius to ensure that all hazardous particles completely disappear. They also learned the proper waste disposal methods to reduce the problem of waste and are steadfastly preparing to upgrade our waste segregation to be effective. Coming soon, the new set of waste separation bins will be stored on 20th -23rd floors with office recycle/upcycle campaigns underway.
